With spring in full bloom, it is important to reflect on this season of renewal and hope. We at Willow’s Cove pledge to dedicate next quarter to bringing awareness to organizations whose tireless efforts bring that renewal and hope to many deserving families. If there is anything the pandemic has taught us, it is that we need to come together and give support to all those in need. At Willow’s Cove, we do our best to give back to the community by highlighting organizations that have, time and time again, proven that hope truly springs eternal.
We have been long supporters of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and its mission to advance cures for catastrophic pediatric diseases through research and treatment. Treatments developed at St. Jude’s have helped elevate the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened over 50 years ago. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of St. Jude’s funding comes from individual contributions. And thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude’s. The inspirational work done by St. Jude’s is extremely important to all of us at Willow’s Cove.
We especially support the extraordinary research performed at St. Jude’s to save the lives of children. We envision a world passionately dedicated to discovering treatments so that children and their loving families, will someday never fear cancer. We are a community that puts children first.
